Welcome. We are still too busy opening boxes and dusting shelves in our new old farmhouse to get organized on this web site, but it’s in the works. In the meantime, look at this awesome family heirloom we unpacked in our new home last week – a most fitting name indeed! We’ve been homeowners for two weeks, after years of apartment living. We have gone from elevators and maintenance staff to wide open fields and lots of tools all around. It’s a shift of sorts!

The plan for this digital space is to chronicle our homestead adventures with monthly summaries, and share other moments on Instagram here. Follow along if you like!

We are doing this for us, simply as a way to keep track of what unfolds as the years go by. It should be fun and informative to look back as we plow ahead into the great unknown of making a house our home. We welcome you to join — and hopefully learn and laugh along with us.
